Brooklyn Theatre TV was fortunate enough to be allowed to feature this concert, which was originally streamed live on 9 September 2020 from Atelier Klang und Raum, situated on Lake Zürich in Switzerland.
In this concert the world famous Russian harpist, Alexander Boldachev teams up with his top class Russian friends in Zürich to bring you a hugely enjoyable programme.
This is concert is not called Swiss Jam Salon for nothing. It is indeed a Salon Music concert focussing on the art of intimate indulgence, with brilliant soloists combining in different combinations.
Alexander has compiled a clever programme with hugely accessible music for the connoisseur and lay music lover. Special treats with the gorgeous combination of cello and harp include the Schubert Arpeggione Sonata and Serenade (Leoncavallo)
The Russian flautist, Tania Pimenova & Alexander have known one another for 15 years and have performed the Concerto for Flute and Harp (Mozart) together in St Petersburg. For this programme, they combine to play a fun arrangement, by the Tania, called Lion King Rhapsody among others.
The virtuoso playing of the Russian violinist, Alexander Kuznetsov can be heard in works like, Two Guitars (Gypsy traditional), Ave Maria (Caccini) and a Star Wars arrangement by Boldachev.
